Series that you would recommend
One of the series that has really captivated me has been "Anne with an E," which is an adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery's books. This Canadian series, comprised of 3 seasons with 27 episodes in total, was created by Moira Walley-Beckett and produced by Northwood Anne, Northwood Entertainment and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. This story begins when siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert decide to adopt an orphan boy to help them work on their farm in Green Gables, just outside the town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. However, when Matthew arrives at the train station to pick up the orphan boy, he realizes that the orphanage has made a mistake, as there is only one red-haired girl named Anne Shirley in the place. At first Marilla is not convinced to adopt her, as they needed someone who could work on the farm, and she was too skinny for that, but over time Anne wins her affection, so she can start this new life in a real home.
