Autobiography

Hi, my name is Nora Molina, I was born on December 11, 2002, I am 18 years old, I am from Santiago and I live in the commune of Maipú. Currently I am psychology student at the University of Chile. 

My parents are from the Ñuble region, although they met here in Santiago. I have three older siblings in total, two brothers are from my dad's first marriage and my sister from my parents' marriage. Currently, I live only with my mom, my two cats and my dog because my siblings live with their partners and my dad is now an angel that he cares me from heaven. 

My favorite color is blue and my favorite animal is the cat. I really like watching series and reading novels, especially those inspired by medieval times. In my free time I like cooking desserts and sweets for my family or my friends, it is something that relaxes me and makes me happy. 

I love music, I am always listening to music, but I don't have a favorite band or singer. For two years I participated in a music workshop at school playing the keyboard. Then, when I started high school, I have been participating for two years in a musical orchestra playing the cello.

One of the series that has really captivated me has been "Anne with an E," which is an adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery's books. This Canadian series, comprised of 3 seasons with 27 episodes in total, was created by Moira Walley-Beckett and produced by Northwood Anne, Northwood Entertainment and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Blog 5: Changes to my study programme

My plan of study this semester consists of 6 courses: Statistics II, Neurophysiology, Developmental Psychology I, Social Psychology I, Psychological Theories and Systems, and Psychopathology. Also, a communication skills course and an English course. Classes are held in the campus classrooms and also in the faculty building. In relation to this, the only thing I would change is that all the rooms where we have the classes have access to a stable internet to make it possible to record the classes. In addition, it is necessary that they have better lighting that allows a good visualization of the PowerPoint presented with the projectors belonging to each of the rooms. Regarding the workload, I only have complaints in 2 courses: The first one is Neurophysiology, because it is a very demanding branch, which has mandatory texts and videos to review for each class, and also activities that have to be solved every week in a portfolio. This generates an overload of work because of all...

Blog 4: Time travel to the past or future

Although it sounds a bit far-fetched, if I had the possibility to travel back in time wherever I wanted, I would not hesitate to travel specifically to 15th century Scotland, that is, in the medieval times when castles were at their peak along with the presence of the valiant Highlanders.  The reason I would like to travel to that particular time and place is mainly because, several years ago, I read my first Scottish medieval novel, which started my love for reading and for that wonderful country.  With a fascinating and even magical way in which life inside the castles, guarded by loyal warriors who gave their lives to protect their people, was described. And also how the beautiful landscapes that characterized the surroundings of the castles are detailed.
