Blog 1: A country you would like to visit.

One of my biggest dreams is to be able to visit and get to know Scotland, a country located in the Midwest of Europe whose capital is the city of Edinburgh. It is also one of the four countries that are part of the United Kingdom, along with Wales, England, and Northern Ireland.

The reason for wanting to go to Scotland is that I am fascinated by its architecture, its culture, its landscapes, its history and above all its monuments and castles. Among which I can highlight the monument of the well-known Scottish warrior William Wallace and the castle of Eilean Donan, which are the places I definitely want to visit the day I have the opportunity to travel to that beautiful country.

I would also like to go to the Highland Games, which are events that take place throughout the year to celebrate the Scottish and Celtic cultures. And which are also organized around traditional Highland sports, including Highland music and dancing, as well as lots of fun for the whole family, with food and craft stalls.

Finally, I would like to work and live in that country, in fact, it is one of my future goals that I want to accomplish. However, it is clear to me that it is not something easy to achieve, and that I would need a lot of time to prepare and organize myself well to meet the necessary requirements to gain admission and stay in the country. And also to have a good pronunciation of English, since it is the language with which I will manage constantly.

  1. I don't know much about Scotland, but all I know is that it looks like a place taken out straight from a royalty-like movie, or a series like Game of Thrones! I hope that one day you can achieve your dreams and live there. Kind Regards!

  2. Yes, it looks really beautiful with green mountains and sea. As Mailyn said: it has a Game of Thrones look--which was filmed in Northern Ireland which is very near Scotland--only 30 kilometers away.
